ShopAmali.com is an online destination for handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry. The client’s site lacked cohesion and there was a disconnect between the client’s physical branding and digital branding. The client’s business cards were black and white with a bright pink edging, and I wanted to bring this into her digital presence with the pop of pink on her website. I also wanted her site to be rich with images, as she is getting started with content but has a ton of products.
This is a personal project that I created to make use of all the photos and research I do when I travel. I love exploring and discovering the best experiences and places wherever I go, and I wanted a way to share that with the world. It’s a work in progress but since I love taking photos, I wanted to make it a heavy-image site. One day, I will offer travel guides that can be downloaded via the site. This template is visually appealing but it is actually very content heavy as most of the images drive to a blog post. This is one of my favorite templates and designs for article based sites or blogs.
Bohemian Wrap City
I created this site using the Stella Squarespace template. I spent two weeks doing deliveries on the Postmates app to see if it inspired any business ideas and it did. After my 100th burrito delivery, making decent money, I wondered what other kind of convenience people would pay way too much for. What I love about Squarespace is how easy it is to implement an idea and test it. Here’s to hoping there are as many people who hate gift wrapping as much as they love burritos!
